Movies:

Diablo: The Calling - 41 MB
Diablo: The Calling is the entire seven-minute introduction cinematic of Diablo II. It tells the story of Marius, a one-time follower of the ancient religious sect of the Horadrim. He is held in a medieval insane asylum, where he is visited by a mysterious, cloaked figure. Believing the visitor to be the arch-angel Tyreal, a mixture of delusions and hazed memories unfold as the troubled Marius recounts how an unbridled terror is unleashed upon the whole of mankind. This is an EXE file that will play full screen Bink format (by default).

Diablo II Preview Clip - 3.5 MB

At almost two minutes long this movie is well worth a download. It shows some great shots of the Barbarian in action, so be sure to check it out.

Gamestar Gameplay Movie - 39 MB
Another gameplay movie released by the german magazine Gamestar. The build is pre-E3, from around the same time as the last two German gameplay movies that were released last month. Gameplay Movie 1 - 50 MB
A gameplay movie released by Blizzard. It's like an expanded version of the Chinese gameplay movie. It's got all the same scenes, (minus the quick cinematic footage at the beginning) and is a bit higher quality and larger picture. The far larger file size is due to there being a higher fps rate, and it being longer, and also there is very good sound. You can hear all the game sounds, from footsteps to monster noises to swords biting into flesh.

Gameplay Movie 2 - 52 MB
Another gameplay movie released by Blizzard Entertainment. It's mostly the Necromancer summon golems, calling down Meteors, with much less time delay than the Sorceress. There are aso a lot of shots of the Sorceress, using Ice Storm, Meteor, lots of Blaze, etc. This movie has very nice quality picture and sound, and it's long, impressively long.

French Gameplay Movie - 13 MB

You start with three potions, and are awarded a new one each time you kill the Paladin. This program was made by CaptainSmack.

Diablo II Hell Gate Poster - 1.9 MB
Entitled "Hell Gate", this is a 1200x1636 pixel, poster-sized view of the five characters on a rock in front of a portal. Allegedly this is the portal you enter either at the end of Act Three or sometime during the Finale, and it takes you down to Hell, where the real fun begins as you take on Diablo and company in their home. This is one gorgeous render. You can see great details of the character's faces, the skeletons and chains on the rock they are standing on, the swirling of the portal, etc. Awesome, and crystal clear.
