PK Problem

Today I have been visiting The Diablo II Suggestions Forum. During that I got an idea of writing this rant, called "PK Problem". The short base of this rant can be found at the forum.

I have read the most of these pkilling suggestions. The bigger half of them says that pkillers should be marked up. I completely disagree... The PKillers shouldn't be marked. Just imagine the following situation. PK (e.g. level 40) enters the game, other players ( e.g. level 25 ) see that "just arrived'' is a pk and retreat. This marking will make a game simple. It'll spoil the game (like cheating in Diablo). But a lot of players won't to be backstabbed. That's why I offer a few suggestions:

- Ingame Statistics: When someone joins the game, the others can check how much persons he killed (and where it took a place e.g. -  arena, tavern, den - CHECK OUT THE END). And maybe they can see the names of the persons he killed?

- Friendly/PK Mode: (friendly is default) When someone changes the mode - others get a msg that the player [nickname] changed a mode. it gives a chance to other player to drink a potion/ run/cast a spell. Perhaps after the switching mode there must take place a 3-5 sec. non-attack delay.

- Assassin Special: This player can attack without a msg warning or delay (it will be some kind of weapons bonus - must be hard to find/very, very expensive to buy. This weapon should disappear after it has been used. This weapon can kill from the first hit (25% - a chance to kill ?). After the weapon is used, the bonus is lost). Assasin should have a "nickname hide" mode (mode dissapears after the weapon is lost). The other players don't see his name and don't know his intentions.

- Guild's Executors: When the guild/clan wants to kill the person(s) they can give a special bonus - like assassin's (e.g. - To give this bonus, 10 players must agree to this decision and enable some sort of option named like "license to kill" (The mutual decision. signatures - [nicknames/accounts], this info will be send to server and stored to prevent statistic changes.). These "to be killed" person will not be able to see executor's intentions, I mean the switching between the modes and time delay. But guild's executors will not be able to kill by the first hit, unless they have a special weapon). The others will see guild's executor's intentions.

- Top Pkillers List: A hundred of the most hatred pkillers can be killed without warning. These pkillers will not see the others intentions. A player, who will kill a top pk will be awarded with money (automatically) and there will be a line in his statistics "Pk killed".

- Arenas:
1) Legit (gladiators) arenas (duels/ command duels only)
2) Killers den. A place, where anyone can kill anyone without warning. All msges players send can be achieved by others.
3) Taverns. Inside of them all players have assassin's bonus (their nicknames are hided), but cannot attack without warning, except if they have the special assassin's weapon.

- Airsnake
